Travelisto arranges these alongside your main booking so everything is confirmed and nothing falls between the gaps. You deal with one company; we coordinate with the providers.

Car hire in any destination
We arrange car hire through established providers in all our main destinations. Collection from airport or hotel, fully comprehensive insurance included, child seats arranged in advance.

Three transfer options
Shared shuttle
Budget option. Scheduled departures every 15–30 minutes from the airport, multiple drops at hotels on the route. Cheapest, but you may wait up to an hour for the next departure.
EnquirePrivate transfer
Direct from airport to hotel, any time. Vehicle sized to your party. The default option we recommend for most holidays — no waiting, no detours.
EnquirePrivate chauffeur
Premium option. Mercedes V-Class or equivalent, professional driver, ice-cold water, child seats on request. Best for luxury bookings and group transfers.

Travel insurance
Comprehensive insurance covers medical emergencies, cancellation, lost baggage and delayed flights. A medical evacuation from the Maldives without insurance has cost travellers over £50,000. Arrange through Travelisto alongside your booking.

Lounge access
A quieter pre-flight wait with complimentary food and drink, fast WiFi and proper seats. Available at all major UK airports.

Dedicated lane through security. 5–10 minutes instead of 30–45 minutes at peak times. A small charge, a big difference at 5am.

Pre-booked parking at all UK airports, including meet-and-greet where you hand over the keys at the terminal. Cheaper if booked in advance, more reliable than turning up.

Holiday extras — your questions
Can I add extras to an existing booking?
Yes — any time before travel. Tell us your booking reference and what you'd like to add. Most extras can be confirmed within 24 hours.
Is car hire included in the package?
Not by default — it's an optional add-on. We can include it at booking or arrange separately. Some destinations make more sense with a car (Lanzarote, Crete) than others (Maldives, Dubai, central city breaks).
What if I need child seats for the hire car?
Tell us the ages of any children travelling and we'll reserve the right type of seat in advance — most suppliers stock infant, child and booster seats. There's usually a small daily charge.
What does CDW cover on hire cars?
Collision Damage Waiver covers damage to the rental vehicle (sometimes minus an excess), plus theft and third-party liability. Excess amounts vary by supplier and country — we confirm the exact figures at booking and can arrange excess-reduction insurance separately.
