Barcelo Corralejo Bay enjoys a prime yet peaceful setting just behind Corralejo’s seafront promenade. A short wander brings you to a long ribbon of pale sand and turquoise water, while the resort centre – with its bars, restaurants and boutiques – is only a few hundred metres away. The wild dunes and sweeping beaches of Grandes Playas lie about 2km down the coast, easily reached by local bus, taxi or a breezy bike ride.

The hotel is centred around two stylish outdoor freshwater pools, both usually heated during cooler months for comfortable year-round swims. One features integrated whirlpool jets – ideal for easing tired legs after dune walks – while the other is perfect for leisurely laps and poolside lounging.
A dedicated sun terrace with Bali beds (local supplement) adds an extra layer of indulgence, and pool towels are available with a refundable deposit, saving space in your suitcase.
When you fancy the feel of sand underfoot, simply wander 130m to the nearest beach. From here you can stroll along the promenade or, for a wilder feel, head a couple of kilometres down to the sweeping dunes and long sands of Grandes Playas.

Wellness is a real highlight at Barcelo Corralejo Bay. The serene spa features a sauna, Turkish bath, hydro whirlpool and a full hydrotherapy circuit, alongside massage rooms, beauty cabins and an on-site hairdresser (services are chargeable; minimum age for spa and beauty is 18 years). Some room types include a daily spa circuit, ideal if spa time is a priority for your holiday.
For more active moments, the gym is equipped with cardio machines and a free weights area and is typically open from 10:00–20:00 for guests aged 18+. There’s also a small library-style reading area when you simply want to curl up indoors with a book.
Evenings bring low-key entertainment such as live music throughout much of the year, perfectly in step with the hotel’s relaxed, adults-only atmosphere.

At Barcelo Corralejo Bay, dining is relaxed but refined. The main Tindaya Restaurant is a bright buffet venue serving breakfast and dinner with live show cooking – expect plenty of Mediterranean favourites, international classics and healthy options. Beachwear is a no-no at dinner, but smart-casual is otherwise the norm.
Between meals, the pool bar serves light bites and à la carte lunch for All Inclusive guests, so you never need to stray far from your lounger. As the sun goes down, the lobby bar becomes the hotel’s social hub, pouring cocktails, Spanish wines and long drinks into the late evening.

Sleeps 2 adults. As the standard Double but with a view over the pool area. Bathrooms may have either a shower only or bath with shower over. Ideal if you like to keep an eye on the pool scene from your balcony or terrace.
Double Room with Side Sea View Sleeps 2 adults
Sleeps 2 adults. Similar layout to the standard Double, but with a side-on glimpse of the Atlantic – a nice upgrade if sunsets and sea views matter.
Double Room for Sole Use Sleeps 1 adult
Sleeps 1 adult. All the essentials of the Double Room but tailored for solo travellers wanting extra space and comfort, with balcony or terrace.
Deluxe Double Room with Whirlpool Sleeps 2 adults
Sleeps 2 adults. These upgraded rooms feature either an outdoor whirlpool on the balcony/terrace or an indoor whirlpool bath. They also come with bathrobes and slippers for extra comfort. A great choice if you want private soak time after beach days.
Premium Deluxe Room with Terrace and Outdoor Whirlpool Access Sleeps 2 adults

Corralejo is Fuerteventura’s liveliest resort, known for its huge sweep of golden sand, breezy conditions ideal for surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing, and a friendly old town clustered around the harbour. Expect around 4.5 hours’ flight time from the UK, no time difference, and a laid-back, year-round beach climate.
