Map & location
Benalmadena, Costa Del Sol, Spain
Benalmadena Palace enjoys a peaceful hillside setting above the shoreline of Benalmadena on the Costa Del Sol. From here you’re close enough to stroll down to the beach, while the elevated position means wide views and quieter evenings back at base.
Benalmadena itself is a resort of three distinct parts – the charming whitewashed old town up on the hill, a bustling downtown district, and a string of sandy beaches backed by palm-lined promenades. The hotel sits between the coast and the old town, so day trips to the pretty marina, Arroyo de la Miel area, the cable car up Mount Calamorro, and even Malaga city are all within easy reach.

Facilities
Pool & outdoors
Benalmadena Palace is well set up for pool days in every season. Outside you’ll find two saltwater pools, including a main pool with plenty of sunbeds and parasols and a separate children’s pool that’s perfect for splashing and games. Pool towels are available with a refundable deposit.
On cooler days or for a change of scene, head indoors to the heated saltwater pool with jets and whirlpool – a bonus if you’re travelling in spring or autumn.
When you fancy the sea, it’s roughly 400m down to the nearest beach. The route is steep, so many guests make use of the hotel’s free courtesy bus down the hill, particularly with pushchairs, beach bags or tired legs in tow.
Spa, sports & wellness
The resort’s spa features a sauna, Turkish bath and whirlpool, along with a menu of massage and beauty treatments plus an on-site hairdresser (charges apply).
Active guests have use of an air-conditioned gym with cardio equipment and a stretching area (minimum age 18 years; typically open 08:00–20:00), plus a wide-ranging activity programme including aerobics, aqua aerobics, yoga, pilates, dance classes, basketball, football, trampolining, mini-golf, darts, table tennis, volleyball, petanque and paddle (some activities and the games room carry a local charge).
A handy on-site mini-market makes it easy to stock up your apartment with snacks or breakfast bits, and reception can help with equipment hire from kettles and toasters to pushchairs, wheelchairs and mobility scooters (local charges apply).

In summer, Restaurante Biznaga opens for buffet and à la carte lunches with show cooking – handy if you don’t want to wander far from the pool. At the heart of the evening scene is the Disco Pub, open late for drinks, music and entertainment, while the Snack Bar by the pool keeps everyone topped up with light bites during the day.
Details such as opening times, reservations and supplements can vary with season and board basis, so check the latest information on arrival.
