Faro, Algarve, Portugal
Step out of 3HB Faro and you’re in the heart of Portugal’s coolest little capital. Cobbled lanes, baroque churches and orange-tree-lined squares are a short stroll away, while the marina and Porta Nova pier put the Ria Formosa Natural Park’s islands and beaches within easy boat reach.
You’re just a few minutes’ walk from Rua de Santo António’s pedestrianised shopping street and the Museu Regional do Algarve, and a slightly longer wander brings you to the train station for links along the Algarve coast. It’s city-break convenience with a beach-holiday backdrop.

Facilities
Pool & outdoors
The showpiece is the rooftop infinity pool, a freshwater outdoor pool perched above the city with a sunbathing terrace, loungers and parasols. Order a drink from the rooftop bar and sink into the views over terracotta rooftops and the island-dotted Ria Formosa. Complimentary pool towels are provided, and baby-changing facilities are available nearby.
Inside the spa, you’ll find an indoor heated pool – perfect for an easy pre-dinner dip or a cooler day.
There’s no direct beach outside the hotel, but Faro’s nearby island beaches (such as Praia de Faro and Ilha Deserta) are easily reached by taxi and boat from the marina, giving you the best of city and sand.
Spa, sports & wellness
The compact but well-equipped gym is air-conditioned and open 24 hours a day (minimum age 16 years), with cardio machines, fixed strength equipment, a free-weights area and space for stretching.
The spa is a calm, cocooning space featuring:
• Sauna and Turkish bath
• Indoor freshwater pool (heated)
• Sensory showers for hot/cold contrast therapy
• A menu of massages and beauty treatments (bookable at reception, extra charge; treatments may be performed in-hotel or at a partner venue, subject to availability)
Elsewhere you’ll find a small children’s playground, plus a stylish lobby area that feels more like a design hotel lounge than a standard resort. Concierge and reception teams are on hand for restaurant bookings, taxis and local recommendations.

Food & drink
Dining at 3HB Faro centres around refined comfort food and local ingredients.
Forno Nero Restaurant is the hotel’s flagship, serving a generous buffet and à la carte breakfast with barista-quality coffee, fresh pastries, fruit and hot dishes. In the evening, it blends Italian classics – think wood-fired style pizzas and handmade pasta – with Algarve-inspired plates using regional produce. Highchairs are available for younger guests, and there’s a smart-casual dress code at dinner.
Up top, the Rooftop Bar serves light dishes and snacks alongside cocktails, Portuguese wines and cold craft beers, with views across the city skyline and lagoon.
Menu details, opening times and whether reservations or supplements apply can vary by season and board basis – always check locally for the latest information. What All Inclusive typically includes.
