Facilities
Pool & outdoors
There are three inviting outdoor saltwater pools set within the hotel’s lush gardens:
• A main pool with plenty of sunbeds and parasols, perfect for relaxed days in the sun
• A second saltwater pool, often a little quieter, where water toys are permitted – great for families
• A separate shallow children’s pool so little ones can splash safely
Pool towels are complimentary, and the sunbathing areas are surrounded by lawns, palm trees and terracotta roofs for an unmistakably Algarvean feel.
The nearest beach is about 3.7km away; you can reach Carvoeiro’s sands and nearby coves by car, taxi or using the hotel’s seasonal shuttle to the resort centre, then walking or taking a short onward ride.

Food & drink
Serenata Restaurant is the hotel’s main dining space, serving breakfast and dinner with a focus on fresh, seasonal Portuguese and Mediterranean dishes. Depending on occupancy and time of year, dinner is either set-menu or buffet-style and can be served at Serenata or the pool bar, so you can eat indoors or al fresco under the stars.
For drinks, Calabash Café is the cosy lounge bar, open most evenings in season for aperitifs, Portuguese wines and nightcaps. By day, the pool bar keeps things relaxed with light bites and drinks close to your lounger, and stays open into the evening for after-dinner drinks when the lounge bar is closed.
A smart-casual dress code may apply for dinner; reservations or supplements can vary by season and board basis.
