Overview
Tucked into the green hillside above the Black Sea, Garden of Eden feels like a little Bulgarian seaside village of its own. Terracotta-roofed blocks step down towards a sandy beach, seven outdoor pools shimmer between the palm trees, and there’s a relaxed mix of hotel rooms and spacious apartments ideal for couples, friends and families. Stylish St Vlas is the calmer, more polished neighbour to lively Sunny Beach, with yacht-filled marinas, chic beach bars and mountain scenery tumbling down to the sea. Garden of Eden sits right on the beachfront at the quieter end of the resort, with the complex stepping down the hillside to the sand.
You’re around 750m from the nearest seafront bars, shops and restaurants, and 1.8km from St Vlas resort centre, where you’ll find a smart marina, cocktail bars and a good mix of local and international dining. Sunny Beach’s nightlife and waterparks are just a short taxi ride away if you want a livelier night out before retreating to your more tranquil base.

With seven outdoor pools scattered through the grounds, you can easily find a favourite spot. Expect:

From lazy buffet breakfasts to sunset drinks by the water, Garden of Eden has a good choice of spots to graze and sip your way around the resort.
Paradiso Restaurant is the main hub, serving a mix of international and Bulgarian dishes buffet-style, with à la carte options and show-cooking. It’s open for breakfast, lunch and dinner (seasonal dates), and is well set up for families with highchairs, a kids’ menu and even a microwave.
For something more atmospheric, there are two à la carte venues:
• Fish Restaurant – a beachfront favourite focusing on seafood and Bulgarian specialities, open in high summer.
• Italian Restaurant – by the pool, with pizzas, pastas and grilled dishes, again open seasonally.
Bars are dotted through the complex so you’re never far from a drink:
• Apple Bar – casual beach bar for daytime drinks and snacks.
• Flower Bar – laid-back pool bar.
