Ozdere is one of the Aegean coast’s most peaceful pockets, with rolling green hillsides, golden beaches and easy day trips to ancient Ephesus and lively Kusadasi. Sunis Efes Royal Palace sits right on the sand, so you can wander straight from breakfast to the beach, or take a leisurely stroll along the shoreline.
The small town of Ozdere is a short drive away for low-key shops and cafés, while Kusadasi’s bazaar, harbourfront restaurants and bars make a great change of scene. Culture lovers are perfectly placed for the UNESCO-listed ruins of Ephesus and the Temple of Artemis.

Pool & outdoors
Families and water-lovers are truly spoilt here. Outside, you’ll find broad freshwater pools with plenty of sunbeds and parasols, plus a separate children’s pool and a fun-filled aqua park with slides (usually open mid-May to early November, weather permitting). Younger guests have their own splash areas, while older kids and adults can make a beeline for the bigger chutes.
If you prefer a quieter dip, there are two indoor freshwater pools (including a children’s pool), typically heated between October and mid-May – ideal for the shoulder seasons. Fresh pool towels are usually provided against a refundable deposit.
The hotel opens directly onto a sandy, gently shelving beach, with a pier and sunbathing platforms stretching over the sea. It’s the kind of place where you can move effortlessly from the pool to the sea and back again all day long.
Spa, sports & wellness
Wellness takes centre stage at the spa, where you can book in for massages, beauty treatments, or simply unwind in the Turkish bath, sauna, steam room or whirlpool (some services incur extra charges). The spa usually opens daily between April and November, with an on-site hairdresser for fresh holiday styling.
For more active moments, there’s an air-conditioned gym (minimum age 16) with cardio equipment and free weights, plus a roster of activities such as aerobics, aqua aerobics, darts, table tennis and snooker. Daytime entertainment runs through the season, with team-led games, sports and poolside fun, while evenings bring professional shows, live music, DJs, karaoke, quizzes and a mini-disco for children (seasonal schedule).

Food & drink
All Inclusive Plus at Sunis Efes Royal Palace comes with a serious choice of food and drink. The Efes Main Restaurant lays on buffet-style breakfast, lunch and dinner with live cooking stations, kids’ menus and children’s buffets. Extra buffet venues like Obed Restaurant (poolside lunch) and Heronnsnacks and Mevlana keep the grazing going throughout the day, from beachside snacks to late-afternoon bites.
In the evening, mix things up at the à la carte restaurants (reservation required, seasonal opening). Tuck into Mexican favourites at Casa Bonito, handmade pasta and show-cooking at Cucina Italian, Turkish specialities at Kushane Ottoman or the Fish Restaurant, or Asian flavours at Mandarin Chinese and the Sushi Restaurant. One à la carte dinner per week is typically included with All Inclusive Plus on a minimum 7-night stay; supplements may apply for extra visits or selected dishes.
There are also 9 bars dotted around the resort, so a drink is never far away. Choose from the Teos and Lebedos lobby bars, the Irish Bar, Sports Bar, Patisserie, Pool Bar, Corner Bar in the gardens, Pier Beach Bar on the sands, or the late-night Disco Bar.
