Map & location
Kassiopi, Corfu, Greece
Melina Bay Boutique Hotel occupies a prime spot on Kassiopi’s picturesque harbour, on Corfu’s scenic north-east coast. Step outside and you’re right on the waterfront promenade, with traditional fishing boats, seaside cafés and laid-back bars just moments away.
Kassiopi itself blends old-world Greek charm with a lively but manageable evening scene. It’s framed by a Byzantine castle and the slopes of Mount Pantokrator, with walking paths leading to hidden coves and viewpoints. From the harbour you can join boat trips along the coast or simply soak up the views across the channel to Albania.

Facilities
Pool & outdoors
You’ll find a compact but inviting outdoor freshwater pool, framed by a small sun terrace with loungers and parasols. It’s a lovely spot to cool off after a morning exploring Kassiopi or walking to the nearby coves. Pool towels are provided free of charge, and the pool usually operates from late April to the end of October (weather permitting).
The main beaches of Kassiopi, including Kalamionas Beach, are roughly a 5–10 minute stroll away. These pebbly and shingle coves offer clear, calm waters that are great for swimming and snorkelling, with beach bars and tavernas close by for drinks and lunch.
Spa, sports & wellness
Melina Bay Boutique Hotel focuses on a peaceful, low-key atmosphere rather than a long list of resort activities. There’s no on-site spa or gym, but the harbourfront location makes it easy to get out on boat trips, coastal walks or watersports arranged locally in Kassiopi.
On the practical side, there is a reception (open around 16 hours per day) offering helpful services including currency exchange (local charge) and luggage storage. Free Wi‑Fi is available throughout the hotel, so you can upload those harbour sunset shots in real time.
Facilities and opening dates can vary by season and are subject to local changes.
Activities
Melina Bay Boutique Hotel itself keeps things intentionally quiet and relaxed, but Kassiopi’s harbour location means you’re well placed for:
• Coastal walks to small coves and viewpoints
• Swimming and snorkelling off the nearby beaches
• Boat trips along Corfu’s north-east coast (bookable locally)
• Evenings spent taverna-hopping and people‑watching around the harbour
Organised entertainment isn’t a feature here – the focus is on slow travel, scenery and enjoying the village at your own pace.
Guest services
• Reception open roughly 16 hours per day
• Currency exchange service (local charge)
• Luggage storage for early arrivals/late departures
• Free Wi‑Fi throughout the hotel
• Pool towels provided free of charge
• Harbourfront setting with easy access to local cafés, restaurants and mini-markets
There are no lifts at the property (3 floors spread across 2 blocks), so this hotel may be less suitable for guests with limited mobility.
Food & drink
The hotel’s focal point is the Melina Bay Restaurant, an all-day à la carte spot that makes the most of its harbour views. Expect a relaxed, contemporary menu that mixes Greek favourites with Italian and wider international dishes, served for breakfast, lunch, dinner and light snacks during the day (usually open 20 Apr–31 Oct).
A lounge bar keeps you topped up with coffees, cocktails and local and international drinks from late morning until around midnight – ideal for a pre-dinner spritz or a nightcap overlooking the bay.
A smart-casual dress code may apply at dinner. Reservations, opening hours and what’s included can vary with season and board basis; details are confirmed locally.
