Perched above Episkopi’s sweep of golden sand, brand‑new Oros Luxury Beach Resort brings a crisp, contemporary edge to Crete’s north coast. Every room faces the Aegean, many with private pools that blur the line between terrace and horizon. With four restaurants, three bars, a dedicated family zone, an adults-only pool and a destination spa with indoor fitness pool, this is a polished, all‑rounder resort for both couples and families keen to be among the first to stay.

Set on a gentle hillside above Episkopi’s wide sandy bay, Oros Luxury Beach Resort overlooks the Aegean between the characterful towns of Rethymnon and Georgioupolis. The setting feels peaceful and natural, with the beach stretching for kilometres and mountains rising behind.
Head west to Georgioupolis for laid‑back tavernas and a small harbour, or east to Rethymnon’s Venetian harbour, old town backstreets and buzzing waterfront bars. You’re close enough to enjoy evenings out, yet far enough to enjoy a calm, resort‑style base by day.

Beach
Episkopi Beach is around 100m from the hotel, accessed via resort paths. It’s a long and relatively open sandy stretch with shallow entry in many parts – great for families and morning walks alike. Sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach may be available for a local charge, depending on the season and local regulations.

Orizontas Main Restaurant
Buffet restaurant serving breakfast and dinner with live show‑cooking stations. Expect Greek favourites, international classics, salads and vegetarian options, plus a children’s corner with highchairs and kids’ menus. Beachwear is not permitted in the evening.
Madaros Cretan Gourmet Restaurant
À la carte Cretan and local cuisine for dinner, showcasing regional produce, olive oil and seafood. Ideal for a special night with an upscale but relaxed fine‑dining feel. Smart dress requested (long trousers for gentlemen).
The Pool Club Restaurant
À la carte lunches at the poolside, with international and local dishes, light bites and family‑friendly favourites. Highchairs available. A natural choice if you don’t want to stray far from your sunbed.
Yacu Nikkei Restaurant
Japanese‑inspired Nikkei cuisine for dinner, with show cooking and a laid‑back terrace setting for warm Cretan evenings.
