Hidden among olive groves on Crete’s north coast, Stella Island Luxury Resort & Spa sits just outside the low-key resort of Analipsis. You’re close enough to wander into the village for a coffee in the square or a stroll along the pier to its tiny chapel, yet far enough away to feel wonderfully secluded.
Analipsis’ Blue Flag beach is an easy walk – golden, well kept and generally quieter than neighbouring Hersonissos. From here you can follow the coast, stop at relaxed seafront tavernas, or arrange boat trips to explore more of Crete’s rugged shoreline.

The resort’s standout feature is its two outdoor freshwater lagoon pools, flowing around decks, bars and rooms like an inland sea. Sunbeds and parasols are dotted along the water’s edge, while a generous towel service means you can travel light.
An indoor heated freshwater pool in the spa offers a calmer, cocooned swim, especially in the shoulder seasons.
The nearest beach in Analipsis is about 500m away – a Blue Flag, sandy stretch with sunbeds and a gentler, quieter feel than Crete’s livelier hotspots. It’s ideal for long, lazy afternoons and sunset walks along the shore.
