Set just outside the traditional village of Panormos on Crete’s north coast, The Royal Senses looks out across open sea and rugged hillsides. You’re close enough to dip into village life and coastal tavernas, yet tucked away in its own contemporary “Cretan village” of terraces, pools and pathways.
Historic Rethymnon, with its Venetian harbour, old town alleys and waterfront restaurants, is an easy day trip, while the wider Chania area delivers everything from mountain villages to epic beaches for exploring by hire car.
