Almyra Hotel is a chic, low-key hillside hideaway just outside postcard-pretty Fiscardo on Kefalonia’s northern tip. With only 28 rooms, soothing sea views and an elegant, light-filled design, it feels more like a contemporary villa than a hotel. Spend slow mornings around the freshwater pool, wander down to Emplisi or Fiscardo beach, then return for Greek flavours on the terrace as the sun sets over the Ionian Sea. Almyra Hotel sits on a peaceful hillside above Fiscardo, one of Kefalonia’s prettiest and most characterful villages. You’re close enough to stroll down for an evening by the harbour, but far enough away to escape the bustle in high season.
The surroundings are classic northern Kefalonia – lush green hills, deep-blue sea and sheltered coves. Emplisi Beach and Fiscardo’s own small beach are both within easy reach for relaxed days by the water, while the wider area is perfect for boat trips, coastal hikes and scenic drives to Assos, Myrtos and Argostoli.
