Kanali is all about big skies, empty sands and unhurried Greek hospitality, and Sesa Boutique Hotel sits right on the beachfront. Step out to the 13km ribbon of golden sand and shallow Ionian waters, or wander the 350m to Kanali’s tiny clutch of shops and tavernas for a chilled drink at sunset.
When you’re ready to explore, head around 20 minutes south to Preveza for cobbled streets, marina-front cafés and boutique shopping, or make a day of it by driving about 45 minutes north to Parga, where colourful houses tumble down to a sheltered bay.
