Colonides Beach Hotel sits on a quiet, olive-dotted hillside on the Messinia coast, a short drive from the historic harbour town of Koroni. From almost every angle you’ll catch wide-open sea views, with the hotel perfectly placed between two beaches: the small, laid-back Colonides Beach just 100m away and the longer, gently shelving Peroulia Beach about 800m away.
Koroni itself is a classic Greek charmer – whitewashed lanes that climb towards a Venetian fortress, tavernas around a colourful harbour and easy day trips to Kalamata city and inland villages. This base works especially well with car hire, so you can roam between beaches, hilltop chapels and olive groves at your own pace.
