Facilities
Pool & outdoors
The hotel’s centrepiece is a stylish outdoor freshwater pool framed by loungers and parasols, perfect for sun-drenched days with the seafront as your backdrop. There’s also a dedicated sunbathing area, and pool towels are provided free of charge.
Inside the spa you’ll find an additional indoor freshwater pool – an adults-only sanctuary that’s ideal for quieter swims and cooler days.
The nearest beach is just across the promenade, around 20 metres away. Kalamata’s coastline stretches along the bay, mixing pebbly stretches and Blue Flag sands, with clear water and views across to the mountains that make even a simple swim feel special.
Spa, sports & wellness
Wellness is a strong focus at Horizon Blu. The compact, air-conditioned gym offers cardio machines and a free weights area (minimum age 18), and is usually open from June to October in the afternoons.
In the spa, you can rotate between the indoor pool, sauna and steam room before indulging in massage or beauty treatments (all spa facilities are 18+ and local charges apply). It’s a calm, boutique space designed for unhurried pampering rather than large-scale spa circuits.
