Map & location
Kokkari, Samos, Greece
Semeli Hotel enjoys a quiet, semi-rural spot just outside the postcard-pretty fishing village of Kokkari. From here, you’re close enough to wander to Tsamadou Beach and nearby tavernas, yet far enough out to feel the peaceful side of Samos – think pine-covered hills, old stone houses and gentle evening breezes.
Kokkari itself is one of Samos’s most atmospheric villages, with a colourful little harbour, narrow lanes, traditional cafés and several pebble-and-sand beaches washed by clear, turquoise water. It’s a superb base if you like to combine lazy beach days with low-key exploration of the island’s mountain trails and villages such as Manolates.

- • Nearest bars and restaurants 500m
- • Kokkari resort centre and harbourside 2.5km
- • Samos town around 11km

Facilities
Pool & outdoors
The hotel centres around an inviting outdoor freshwater pool, edged by a stone terrace and leafy planting. Sunbeds and parasols are laid out around the water, creating a petite but peaceful sunbathing area that never feels crowded thanks to the small number of rooms. Complimentary pool towels mean you can pack lighter.
When you’re ready for the sea, follow the road down to Tsamadou Beach, roughly 450m away. This curving, pebbled bay is one of Samos’s prettiest, backed by trees and washed by incredibly clear, blue-green water that’s perfect for swimming and snorkelling on calm days.
Spa, sports & wellness
Semeli Hotel keeps things simple and serene, focusing on comfort and relaxed downtime rather than a packed facilities list. There’s no full spa or gym on site, but the natural surroundings more than make up for it – hiking trails, coastal walks and mountain villages are all within easy reach if you like to explore.
On site you’ll find:
- Reception (open 13 hours per day) with friendly local advice
- Luggage storage for early arrivals or late departures
- Free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel
For more active days, Kokkari and the wider island offer watersports, boat trips and walking routes that can be arranged locally.
Activities

?️ Day trips to hill villages like Manolates
