Secret View Hotel is tucked into the hillside just outside Oia, one of Santorini’s most iconic villages. The elevation gives you sweeping views over whitewashed houses, rugged cliffs and the Aegean, yet you’re close enough to dip into Oia’s marble-paved lanes, boutiques, galleries and sunset viewpoints whenever the mood takes you.
Baxedes Beach is around 1.4km away for a swim or seafront stroll, while the rest of the island – from Fira’s cable car to the black-sand beaches of Kamari and Perissa – is within easy taxi or bus reach. Expect some steep hills and steps typical of the island’s terrain.
