Map & location
Pedi, Symi Island, Greece
Pedi is one of Symi’s sleepiest and most scenic bays, tucked into a valley on the north-east coast. Pastel-coloured houses scatter down the hillside to the waterfront, with cats snoozing in the sun and locals chatting outside small cafés.
Pedi Beach Hotel sits right on the bay’s pebbly shoreline in the resort centre, so you’re moments from a couple of tavernas and the laid-back harbour. When you want a change of scene, Symi Town is just 2km away – a postcard-perfect harbour town with neoclassical mansions, waterfront tavernas and sunset views that are well worth peeling yourself away from the beach for.
- Beach on the pebbly beachfront
- Pedi resort centre on the doorstep
- Symi Town 2km
- Approx. transfer time from airport 2 hours 30 minutes including a ferry crossing from Rhodes to Symi.
Facilities
Pool & outdoors
There’s no swimming pool here – the Aegean is your playground.
Pedi Beach Hotel sits directly on a narrow pebbly beach, with crystal-clear water perfect for bathing and paddling. Sunbeds and parasols line the seafront terrace and beach area; these are chargeable locally (typically around €10 per sunbed), and the cost can be redeemed against drinks at the bar or restaurant, making it easy to settle in for a full day by the water.
The bay is sheltered and calm, ideal for leisurely swims rather than high-octane watersports, and the setting feels gloriously unhurried from sunrise to the golden hour.
Spa, sports & wellness
This is a place to relax more than rush around, but there are a few handy facilities to make your stay smooth:
Gym
A small fitness room with cardio machines and a free weights area (minimum age 16yrs). Typically open from around 07:00–21:00 between early May and the end of October – ideal if you like to stretch your legs after a day on the beach.
Other facilities
• 24-hour reception with concierge-style assistance
• Luggage storage for early arrivals or late departures
• Restaurant highchairs for children
There is no on-site spa, organised entertainment or kids’ club here – the focus is firmly on slow days, sea views and discovering Symi at your own pace.
