Map & location
Palma City, Balearics, Spain
Palma is one of the Mediterranean’s most rewarding short-break cities, and Hotel Nou Baleares puts you in a handy spot to reach its big-hitter sights on foot. Wander 10–15 minutes to the Old Town’s maze of lanes, tapas bars and galleries, or continue another few minutes to Plaça Major for cafés and people-watching.
La Seu Cathedral and the waterfront promenade sit a pleasant stroll away, while nearby bus links make it simple to reach the marina, Bellver Castle or city beaches if you want to swap cobbles for sand for an afternoon.
- Approx. transfer time from airport 15–20 minutes by car or taxi (longer for shared coach transfers).
Facilities
Pool & outdoors
The rooftop is the hotel’s calling card – a compact, adults-only freshwater pool (typically open 1 July–30 September) set on a sun deck with hammocks, loungers and skyline views over Palma’s rooftops. It’s more about cooling dips and sundowners than serious lengths, but that’s exactly the appeal on a warm city afternoon. Pool towels are provided with a refundable deposit.
There’s no on-site beach, but several city beaches and chic beach clubs are a short taxi or bus ride away, so you can easily mix culture with a dose of seaside time during your stay.
Spa, sports & wellness
Wellness is low-key and urban in style. An air-conditioned gym is equipped with cardio fitness kit and is normally open between 10:00 and 19:00 (minimum age 18 years).
Beyond that, the hotel focuses on thoughtful city-break conveniences: 24-hour reception, concierge to help with restaurant bookings and sightseeing tips, currency exchange, luggage storage and a small range of items available for hire, including kettles for rooms that don’t already feature them.
Facilities and opening hours may change seasonally and according to occupancy.
