Facilities
Pool & outdoors
Pool days are a highlight here. Outside, three freshwater pools provide plenty of space for everyone: a generous main pool with ample sunbeds and parasols, a quieter pool with whirlpool section, and a shallower children’s pool with playful slides. Inflatables are permitted in the main pool, adding to the fun factor in summer.
An indoor saltwater pool with a children’s section sits by the spa area – helpful in the early and late season or on breezier days. This indoor pool is usually heated between mid and end of September, subject to the hotel’s timetable.
Towels are available against a refundable deposit, so you can travel lighter. When you fancy the feel of sand between your toes, just step out of the hotel, cross the small road and you’re on Sozopol’s beach, ideal for family paddles and gentle swims.
Spa, sports & wellness
Keep your routine going in the compact gym, fitted with cardio machines and a small free-weights area (age restrictions typically apply, usually 16+). Organised aqua aerobics sessions, darts and table tennis offer extra ways to get moving and meet fellow guests.
The spa area has a sauna, steam room and a menu of massage and beauty treatments, all bookable locally and generally open in the summer months depending on occupancy. It’s a handy place to decompress once the kids’ club wraps up for the day.
Elsewhere you’ll find a children’s playground, a well-equipped kids’ club for ages roughly 4–12 years, and a programme of daytime games, team sports and water-based fun, particularly between mid-June and mid-September. Occasional evening entertainment – quizzes, bingo, karaoke and mini-discos – rounds off the family-friendly vibe without going late into the night.
Core guest services include a staffed reception with concierge-style assistance and luggage storage, plus Wi-Fi throughout the hotel so you can share those sunset snaps in real time.

Food & drink
Days at Martinez Hotel revolve around the main buffet restaurant, where you’ll find a mix of international favourites and local Bulgarian dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Live show-cooking stations add a bit of theatre at breakfast and dinner, and highchairs are available for little ones.
A bright lobby bar keeps drinks flowing throughout the day, while a terrace bar is the go-to spot for an early evening drink before dinner. Expect a relaxed dress code but note that beachwear isn’t usually permitted inside the indoor bar areas.
The All Inclusive package generally includes buffet meals in the main restaurant, snacks such as ice cream between meals, and a selection of local wine, beer, spirits and soft drinks served for at least 12 hours per day. Exact timings, brands and any à la carte options can vary by season, so check current details on arrival. What All Inclusive typically includes.
Rooms
Double Room for Sole Use
Perfect for solo travellers who appreciate a bit more space than a single, these rooms typically mirror the standard Double Room set-up – including balcony or terrace – but are priced for single occupancy. Facilities include Wi‑Fi, flat screen TV, air conditioning, fridge, kettle and shower room.
Large Double Room
Sleeping up to three guests, Large Double Rooms give you a little more floor space than standard doubles, useful if you’re travelling with an older child or prefer room to spread out. Expect similar amenities: balcony or terrace, Wi‑Fi, TV, air con, fridge, kettle and shower room.
Promotional Double Room
Promotional Doubles generally offer the same core comforts as standard rooms but may be in less central locations, have a different outlook or be limited in availability. They’re a smart choice if you’re flexible and looking for value. You’ll still benefit from air conditioning, Wi‑Fi, TV, fridge, kettle and shower bathroom.
Family Room Sleeps 3–4 guests
Designed with families in mind, these rooms sleep 3–4 guests and usually feature an open-plan layout or partially separated sleeping areas. A balcony or terrace comes as standard, along with Wi‑Fi, flat screen TV, fridge, kettle, coffee-making facilities and a shower bathroom. They’re a good step up for parents who’d like more space than a classic double.
Apartment
Apartments are a great fit for larger families or friends travelling together, sleeping up to four guests. Expect a bedroom plus living area with extra beds or sofa beds, giving everyone a bit of breathing room. Facilities typically match the hotel standard – air conditioning, Wi‑Fi, flat screen TV, fridge, kettle, coffee-making set-up and a shower bathroom – with the bonus of more space to relax between pool and beach time.
