Think whitewashed architecture, blond-wood furnishings and plenty of space to stretch out in one and two bedroom apartments – many set over two levels for that townhouse feel. With a relaxed vibe, quality service and a sustainability badge to its name, it’s a stylish base for beach days, surf sessions and exploring Fuerteventura’s famous dunes and island scenery.

Map & location
Corralejo, Fuerteventura, Canary Islands, Spain
Set on the quieter outskirts of Corralejo, Buendia Corralejo gives you a relaxed neighbourhood feel with the resort’s energy in easy reach. Within around 100m you’ll find local shops, bars and restaurants, while a short 700m stroll takes you to both the resort centre and the nearest stretch of beach.
From here, it’s easy to strike out to Corralejo’s legendary sand dunes, head over to Lobos Island for a day trip or even hop on the ferry to Lanzarote. Facilities
Pool & outdoors
The centrepiece of Buendia Corralejo is its outdoor freshwater pool, often heated in cooler months. The surrounding sunbathing terrace is dotted with comfortable sunbeds, Balinese beds and parasols – everything you need for lazy, sun-drenched days with a book or podcast.
Pool towels are provided free of charge, freeing up some space in your suitcase. Facilities can vary by season and pool, but the overall mood is calm and unhurried, with the emphasis firmly on relaxation.
When you feel like sand between your toes, wander around 700m to Corralejo’s nearest beach. Fuerteventura’s north coast is famous for its surf and long sweeps of sand, so you’re never far from another shoreline to explore.
Spa, sports & wellness
Stay active in the air-conditioned gym, which comes with cardio equipment, a free weights area and stretching zone (minimum age 18 years). If you prefer a more mindful workout, Pilates and yoga sessions are offered for an extra charge, giving you a wellness hit to go with the sunshine.
Fuerteventura’s reputation as a water sports hub is reflected here too, with windsurfing available locally through an external provider, plus a handy surf school and shop on hand for lessons, kit and advice (charges apply).
Cycling fans can make use of bike hire and cycling facilities, ideal for exploring Corralejo and the island’s volcanic landscapes under your own steam. For something more leisurely, there’s a pool table for casual games.
For downtime, book in with the massage service (run by an external company and subject to availability and occupancy) – perfect after a day of hiking, biking or surfing.

Food & drink
At the heart of the social scene you’ll find Buendia & Waves, the poolside buffet restaurant. Mornings start with a laid-back breakfast, while later in the day you can graze on casual lunches and snacks between dips and sunbathing sessions.
Expect a relaxed, contemporary space that matches the rest of the complex, with indoor and outdoor seating and a menu designed for easy, sunny-day dining. Self-catering guests can dip in as and when they like, and Bed & Breakfast guests have the ease of breakfast included.
A smart casual dress code may apply, and facilities, opening times, reservations and supplements can vary by season and board arrangement, so use this as a guide and always check the latest details on arrival or with reception.
