Aegean Pearl sits right on the Rethymnon seafront promenade, at the eastern, quieter end of the bay. Step out of the hotel and you’re moments from the sandy beach and shallow waters, ideal for relaxed swims and morning walks.
The immediate area is sprinkled with shops, cafés and local tavernas, while Rethymnon’s charismatic old town – all bougainvillea-draped mansions, Venetian facades and harbour-front restaurants – lies just over 2km away. It’s an easy taxi ride or a scenic stroll along the waterfront.
From here you can drive out to explore Crete’s interior villages, visit the Venetian fortress above town or head west along the coast for more beaches and viewpoints.
