Analipsis, Crete (Heraklion Area), Greece
Analipsis is classic low-key Crete: a traditional village framed by olive groves and long, sandy Blue Flag beaches, with far fewer crowds than neighbouring Hersonissos. Bella Beach sits in a peaceful pocket of the resort, with the seafront just a short stroll away and a handful of tavernas and cafés within easy reach.
Head a few kilometres along the coast and you’ll find the livelier bars, shops and waterfront of Hersonissos, while Heraklion’s harbour, museums and Minoan sights make a straightforward day trip by car or bus.

Facilities
Pool & outdoors
You’re spoiled for choice when it comes to swimming spots. Outside, there are three freshwater pools, including a dedicated children’s pool, all with sunbeds and parasols in generous sunbathing areas. One pool tends to be livelier with activities, while others keep a more tranquil feel – handy if your party wants different paces.
Inside the spa area you’ll find an indoor heated freshwater pool (usually heated from May to October), ideal for a quiet dip out of the sun. Pool towels are complimentary.
The sandy Blue Flag beach at Analipsis is just a short walk away. Well-kept and generally quieter than beaches closer to Hersonissos, it’s perfect for long, lazy days with gentle waves and plenty of space. Facilities and lifeguard presence can vary by season, so check locally.

Dining at Bella Beach is built around relaxed, Mediterranean flavours with sea views on the side.
The Pergola Restaurant is the main buffet venue, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with show-cooking stations, a kids’ corner, highchairs and handy microwaves for families. Expect an easy mix of Greek and international dishes that changes daily.
Two à la carte restaurants up the variety. Olive Tree, set by the beach, offers a blend of Greek and international dishes for lunch, dinner and snacks, while Orion focuses on traditional Greek recipes in a more intimate setting – perfect for a date night.
You’ll have three bars to choose from:
• Azalia Main Bar – lobby cocktail bar for aperitifs and after-dinner drinks
• Oasis Beach Bar – chilled drinks and coffees right by the sand
• Rotonda Pool Bar – daytime hub for refreshments between dips
Smart dress codes apply in some restaurants (long trousers requested for gentlemen; beachwear not permitted at dinner). Reservations are required for the à la cartes and a supplement may apply depending on your board arrangement. Details can change seasonally; check the latest information on arrival.
