Facilities
Pool & outdoors
The main outdoor freshwater pool is the social hub of Caldera Village, framed by sunbathing terraces with sunbeds and parasols and a separate shallow section for children. Inflatables and water toys are permitted, which keeps the atmosphere playful for younger families.
A dedicated splash park adds to the fun, complete with a tipping water bucket and interactive water features. It generally operates between May and October, for limited hours during the day, and local age, height or weight restrictions may apply.
Down the hill, Aghia Marina’s long sandy beach is the place for sea-swimming, sandcastle sessions and water sports. Beach bars and cafés dot the waterfront, so it’s easy to spend full days by the sea before heading back up to the calm of the hillside village.
Spa, sports & wellness
While there’s no full spa, guests have use of a compact but well-equipped gym with cardio machines – handy if you like to keep your routine going between swims and beach walks.
Children are particularly well catered for, with:
– Outdoor playground with adventure-style equipment (restrictions may apply)
– Indoor soft play area open for long daily hours in season
– Kids’ buffet corner and highchairs in the main restaurant
Practical touches include a 24-hour-style reception with luggage storage and the option to hire baby pushchairs (local charge), plus an on-site mini-market for holiday essentials, snacks and beach toys – especially convenient if you’re self-catering in one of the apartments.
Seasonal evening entertainment, such as in-house shows, runs on selected nights in spring and summer, creating a friendly, low-key atmosphere without disturbing those who prefer an earlier night.
