Corfu Holiday Palace is perched on the Kanoni peninsula, one of the island’s most photogenic corners. The sand-and-pebble beachfront sits directly below the hotel and is reached via a funicular elevator, so you can glide down to the shore in minutes.
From the elevated grounds you’ll overlook the lagoon, Mouse Island and the tiny Church of Vlacherna – a classic Corfu postcard scene – with the occasional aircraft coming in to land across the water adding a unique backdrop.
Shops, cafés and tavernas are around 100m away, while Kanoni’s small centre is about 1.5km.
