From first glimpse, Eagles Villas feels like a private sanctuary above the sea. Low-rise stone-clad villas tumble down towards the shore, each with a private plunge pool and broad terrace designed for long, lazy days overlooking Mount Athos and the islets offshore. Inside, understated contemporary design, natural wood and plenty of glass keep the focus firmly on those blue-on-blue views. Eagles Villas crowns a quiet hillside above the turquoise waters of the Athos peninsula, the most unspoilt finger of Halkidiki. The traditional fishing village of Ouranoupolis is close enough for an evening wander yet far enough to keep the atmosphere gloriously serene.

Facilities

Pool & outdoors

You’ll have your own private plunge pool at every villa, but there’s also a lovely shared outdoor pool with a shallow children’s section and ample sunbathing space with loungers and parasols. The main pool is heated at the start of the season (typically late April to mid-May) for extra comfort in cooler months.

Indoors, an adults-only heated pool forms part of the spa, ideal for a peaceful swim or a cool-off between treatments.

Down at the beach, soft sand, calm water and full-service sunbeds make it tempting to stay all day. Water sports (run by an external company) include canoeing, kayaking, pedalos, windsurfing, snorkelling, scuba diving and selected motorised activities (extra charges apply). Complimentary pool and beach towels are provided.

Spa, sports & wellness

Wellness is taken seriously at Eagles Villas. The Elemis spa (for adults) features a whirlpool, sauna, steam room and treatment rooms offering facials, massages and body rituals using premium products (charges apply).

The air-conditioned gym comes with cardio machines, free weights and a sauna, while a varied activity programme may feature paddle, pilates, yoga, table tennis, tennis and volleyball (some incur local fees). Cycling fans can hire bikes to explore the hillside surroundings.

Armyra – beachside Greek restaurant for fresh fish and seafood, open for lunch and dinner in season.
Kamares – adults-only fine dining with a Greek-meets-gourmet menu and sunset views.
Vinum – wine-focused à la carte with live cooking and a strong Greek and international cellar.
Patio Bistro – relaxed bistro-style plates with international and Greek dishes at lunchtime.

Drinks and light bites are served between the Beach Bar, stylish Cabin Bar, the sociable Eagles Club and a pool bar handy for days on your lounger. Smart dress codes and reservations apply in some restaurants, with availability and opening dates varying across the season.

If you opt for All Inclusive, you’ll enjoy buffet breakfast plus selected à la carte lunches and dinners at multiple venues, a bottle of wine per room with main meals, snacks and finger food at Eagles Club, branded drinks for a minimum of 12 hours a day and ice-cream and fresh juices for children. FAQs

Is Eagles Villas on the beach?
Eagles Villas sits on a hillside within the wider Eagles Resort, around 120 metres from the sandy beach. Guests can walk or use resort transport down to the shore, where you’ll find sunbeds, parasols, a beach bar and a water sports centre.
Are the pools at Eagles Villas heated?
Each villa has its own private plunge pool, and there is a shared outdoor pool with a children’s section. The main outdoor pool is typically heated from late April to mid-May, while the indoor adults-only pool in the spa is heated for most of the season (dates can vary).
What’s included in the All Inclusive at Eagles Villas?
The All Inclusive programme usually covers buffet-style breakfast in Lofos and Melathron, selected à la carte lunches and dinners across several restaurants with an appetiser, main and dessert per guest, a bottle of wine from a set list per room with lunch and dinner, snacks and finger food at Eagles Club, ice-cream and fresh fruit juices for children at selected bars and a selection of local and international branded drinks served for at least 12 hours per day. Adults also benefit from access to the spa wet areas and beach service from a dedicated soft drink menu. Inclusions and restaurant opening dates may change by season.
Is Eagles Villas suitable for young children and babies?
Yes. Although the setting is stylish and tranquil, Eagles Villas is very family-friendly. Villas offer separate bedrooms or generous open-plan layouts, private gardens in many categories and practical amenities like espresso machines and beach towels. The resort runs several kids’ clubs from 4 months to 11 years (reservation and local charges apply), and there’s also a playground, children’s menu options and a shallow pool section.
Do you need a car when staying at Eagles Villas?
A car is not essential thanks to on-site facilities, beach access and organised excursions, but it can be helpful if you want to explore independently – for instance to visit Thessaloniki, more remote beaches in Halkidiki or nearby villages. Taxis and boat trips can also be arranged via the hotel concierge if you prefer not to drive.
Are there adults-only areas at Eagles Villas?
Yes. While the villas and main facilities welcome families, certain spaces are adults-only, including the indoor pool and spa area and the Kamares fine-dining restaurant. This balance makes the resort attractive both to couples seeking quiet corners and to families needing space and services.
What is the dress code for restaurants at Eagles Villas?
A smart-casual dress code applies in many restaurants. Beachwear is not permitted, and in the evening gentlemen are typically asked to wear long trousers in the more formal venues such as Kamares, Vinum, Lofos and Melathron. Exact policies can vary, so it’s best to check with reception on arrival.
Does Eagles Villas offer sustainable or eco-friendly practices?
Eagles Villas forms part of Eagles Resort, which holds a Certified Sustainable Hotel label based on a standard recognised by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) at the time of review. The property undergoes regular reassessments, with initiatives around energy and water use, waste reduction and support for the local community.
