Pefki Islands Resort is tucked just back from the waterfront in Pefkos, one of Rhodes’ most relaxed and family-friendly resorts on the sun-soaked south-east coast. The village takes its name from the pine trees that dot the hillsides, and you’ll feel that laid-back, traditional Greek character as you wander to the beach or stroll into the compact centre.
You’re within easy reach of four small sandy beaches with clear, gently shelving water that’s ideal for swimming and snorkelling. The Blue Flag Lee Beach is the star of the show, with seafront tavernas and chilled bars right behind the sand. For a change of scene, the beautiful whitewashed village of Lindos and its famous Acropolis is just a short taxi ride away (approx. 3km), giving you a nice balance of beach, history and harbour views.

Pool & outdoors
Days here tend to revolve around the water. The resort has two freshwater outdoor pools, each with an integrated children’s section, surrounded by sunbathing terraces with sunbeds and parasols. Inflatables are generally permitted, keeping younger guests happy, and the pools usually operate from early May to the end of October, weather permitting.
The main pool is the social hub, close to the snack bar and taverna, while the second pool offers a slightly quieter vibe but still suits families. Freshwater, plenty of space and long Greek sunshine hours mean you’re never short of a spot to stretch out.
When you’re ready for the sea, the nearest sandy beach is about 300m away. The clear, shallow water here is perfect for a gentle swim or snorkel, with small coves and bays lining the coast if you want to explore further.
Spa, sports & wellness
Active guests can make use of the air-conditioned gym (typically open 08:00–20:00, ages 18+), which features cardio fitness machines, a free weights area and space for stretching.
For extra pampering, there’s access to an off-site spa with a steam room and massage treatments for guests aged 16 and above (charges apply). On-site you’ll also find a hairdresser and additional beauty treatments for adults, ideal ahead of a special night out.
Families are well looked after with a children’s playground featuring swings, slides and shaded areas (age and height restrictions may apply). Three restaurants provide highchairs, and the layout of the complex keeps you close to your room wherever you settle during the day.

Buffet restaurant serving breakfast, with highchairs available. A relaxed, bright space overlooking the pool. The hotel usually requests no beachwear at mealtimes.
Ktima Noema
Á la carte Italian restaurant for dinner (typically mid-May to mid-October). Expect classic pizzas, pastas and Mediterranean mains in a smart-casual setting. Highchairs available.
Meze Greek Taverna
Á la carte Greek taverna at the poolside (typically mid-May to mid-October) serving meze-style sharing plates, grilled meats and local specialities – ideal for an easy evening close to your room.
For drinks and snacks there are two main bars:
Delfini Snack Pool Bar
Poolside snack bar open long hours (typically 09:00–02:00), serving light bites, ice creams, soft drinks and cocktails.
Helios Pool Bar
Swim-up bar in one of the pools, open throughout the summer season, great for a cold drink without leaving the water. Also serves simple food during the day.
