Map & location
Imerovigli, Santorini, Greece
Built into the cliffs of Imerovigli, Regina Mare Hotel claims a classic Santorini address: whitewashed buildings tumbling down the caldera edge, blue-domed churches, and impossibly wide views of the Aegean and volcano. The ambience here is quieter than Oia or Fira, but you’re close enough to dip into the island’s capital for dining, shopping and nightlife whenever you wish.
Spend days lounging by the pool watching sailboats drift across the caldera, then wander 10 minutes into Imerovigli’s centre for sunset cocktails or a traditional taverna dinner. For a change of scene, Kamari’s black-sand beach is an easy taxi ride away.

Facilities
Pool & outdoors
The focus at Regina Mare is the compact yet beautifully placed outdoor freshwater pool, set on a sun terrace that seems to merge with the caldera. Sunbeds and parasols are provided, with complimentary towels and uninterrupted vistas over the sea and volcano – a dreamy spot for golden-hour cocktails or a dip as the sky turns pink.
There’s no direct beach access from the cliffside, but Kamari’s volcanic black-sand shoreline is about 12.4km away by taxi or hire car, with loungers, beach clubs and waterfront tavernas for a change from the pool deck.
Spa, sports & wellness
There’s no on-site gym, keeping the vibe quiet and relaxed, but if you’re in the mood for wellness you can book into the nearby Avaton Spa at sister property Avaton Resort (around 200m away). Facilities there include a sauna, steam room, whirlpool and a range of massage and beauty treatments (local charges apply; set opening hours).
On property, the emphasis is on calm: sink into a lounger with a book, stroll the scenic caldera path towards Fira, or ask the concierge to help arrange local excursions, winery visits or boat trips around the volcano and hot springs.

Food & drink
Start the day exactly as you like it – breakfast here is served à la carte in your room, so you can enjoy Greek yoghurt, fresh pastries and coffee on your balcony while watching the morning light over the caldera. Later on, the hotel’s poolside snack bar (typically open 20 Apr–31 Oct) keeps you topped up with light bites and a mix of local and international drinks, ideal for long, lazy afternoons by the water.
Evenings are often spent out and about: wander to nearby tavernas for home-style Santorini dishes like tomatokeftedes and fresh seafood, or head into Fira for rooftop restaurants and a wider choice of bars. Dress codes and restaurant opening times can change seasonally, and supplements may apply depending on your chosen board – check details locally. What All Inclusive typically includes.
