Map & location
Vassilikos, Zante, Greece
The Bay Hotel sits directly on the sand in Vassilikos, an unspoilt corner of southeast Zante where pine-covered hills roll gently down to the Ionian Sea. This is a softer, more natural side of the island – think dune-backed beaches, clear shallows and a handful of relaxed tavernas rather than big resorts.
You’re around 350m from the nearest shops, cafés and low-key bars, and just 2.6km from Vassilikos resort centre with its cluster of seafood restaurants and traditional Greek tavernas. Days are easily filled between the beach, the pools and coastal walks, while livelier spots like Argassi and Zante Town are within taxi reach if you want a change of pace one evening.

Facilities
Pool & outdoors
Outside, the focus is firmly on the water. There are two outdoor freshwater pools, including a dedicated children’s pool, both edged with sunbeds and parasols for unhurried sunbathing. Towel service is available with a refundable deposit, so you can keep luggage light.
From the pool terrace, it’s only a few steps down to the hotel’s sandy beachfront – ideal for sunrise strolls, swims before breakfast and watching the sky change colour in the evenings. Gentle activities such as water polo are offered in season, and the sheltered bay makes it easy to enjoy the sea at your own pace. Facilities and opening periods can vary by pool and are typically available between early May and October.
Spa, sports & wellness
Balance poolside lounging with a session in the compact but well-equipped gym, which comes with cardio machines, an aerobics studio, stretching zone and a sauna (18+; seasonal opening, usually 10:00–19:00). If you prefer to keep things lighter, there’s table tennis, darts, tennis and a basketball area, plus organised aerobics sessions and water polo.
For wind-down time, head to the small spa area for massage and beauty treatments (18+, extra charge, usually open six days a week between May and October). Occasional evening entertainment, including live music, adds a little atmosphere without disturbing the peaceful feel.
Practical touches include a 24-hour reception, currency exchange, luggage storage, mobility scooter hire and charging (local charge), and a handy on-site mini-market for beach essentials and snacks.

Dining at The Bay Hotel leans into relaxed, contemporary Greek living. The main restaurant, set out on the terrace, combines buffet and à la carte service, serving international, Italian and Greek dishes for breakfast and dinner – from fresh local salads and grilled meats to pasta and daily specials.
At lunchtime, the pool restaurant steps in with à la carte international plates and snacks right by the water, ideal for long, lazy pool days. A pool bar and lounge-style bar complement the scene with everything from coffee and soft drinks to local and premium spirits.
A smart dress code may apply in the evenings (no beachwear), reservations may be required, and some items or venues can carry a supplement depending on your board basis. Offerings and opening dates are based on the previous season and can change from year to year. What All Inclusive typically includes.
