Two outdoor freshwater pools sit in manicured lawns at the cliff edge, framed by parasols and loungers that look straight out to the Atlantic. One is a large freeform pool for general use and the other is a shallower children’s pool, both with sunbathing terraces and plenty of space to stretch out.

On cooler or off-season days there are two indoor freshwater pools, including one in the Blu Spa which is heated between May and October, and another heated pool typically available from April to December – perfect for shoulder-season breaks.

From the garden level a private path and steps wind down through the cliffs to the long, golden sweep of Praia da Falésia.
