Quinta Da Casa Branca sits in Funchal’s hotel zone, hidden away behind tall walls and lush greenery so it feels wonderfully secluded. Step outside and you’re a short stroll from local cafés, bars and restaurants, while Funchal’s cobbled old town, marina and lido area are around 2km away. Madeira’s famous gardens, coastal promenades and cable car to Monte are all within easy reach, making this a superb base for exploring by day and retreating to tranquillity by night.

Two heated outdoor freshwater pools are dotted through the estate’s manicured gardens, each with sunbathing terraces, loungers and parasols. One pool is for adults only, keeping the atmosphere peaceful for couples, while the other welcomes families with older children. Complimentary pool towels are provided.
There’s no on-site beach, but Funchal’s lido complex and coastal promenades are easily reachable, with sea platforms and pebble coves for swimming, plus cafés and bars overlooking the Atlantic.
