Climia Benidorm Plaza sits in a central yet slightly elevated position in Benidorm, just behind the Old Town. Step outside and in a few minutes you’re on cobbled streets lined with tapas bars, local boutiques and the blue-domed Church of San Jaime. Head 300m downhill and you hit Levante Beach, one of the Costa Blanca’s most famous sandy bays, with promenades, watersports and countless cafés.
Benidorm itself is a resort of two halves – the skyscraper skyline and neon nightlife around the English Square, and the more traditional Old Town. From the hotel you can easily explore both by foot or hop in a taxi to visit Benidorm Palace, theme parks or La Cala at the quieter end of Poniente Beach.

The hotel’s compact outdoor freshwater pool is a welcome retreat from Benidorm’s busy streets. Framed by a sunbathing terrace with loungers and parasols, it’s heated from 1 November to 1 April (weather dependent), making winter dips surprisingly tempting. Pool towels are available with a refundable deposit, so you can travel lighter.
Levante Beach is just 300m away – a long, gently shelving stretch of golden sand with beach bars, sunbeds and water activities. For something quieter, wander to Poniente or La Cala, or seek out the small cove at the foot of the Old Town for a more local feel.
Spa, sports & wellness
Stay active in the air-conditioned gym, which offers cardio machines, free weights and a stretching area, plus a sauna for post-workout unwinding (minimum age 16). There’s also a whirlpool for daytime relaxation.
The entertainment team runs a mix of activities:
– Daily daytime entertainment from mid-May to the end of December, with family-friendly games and activities
– Occasional daytime programme in early-season months (Jan–mid May)

The main buffet restaurant is the hub of dining at Climia Benidorm Plaza, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with live show-cooking stations and a mix of Spanish and international dishes. It’s located poolside, with handy highchairs, a microwave and a small kids’ buffet corner for younger guests.
The cocktail bar opens from morning until late (approx. 10:00–01:00), pouring local, international and premium drinks in a relaxed, social setting – ideal for a pre-dinner aperitif or nightcap after the evening entertainment.

Superior Room with Partial Sea View
These rooms sleep up to 2 guests and are perfect if you’d like a little more outlook, with higher-floor positions and partial sea views from the balcony. Inside you’ll find a flat-screen TV, Wi‑Fi, kettle, fridge, and a bathroom with either a bath with shower attachment or a walk-in shower. Family Room Sleeps 2–4 guests
Designed for families, these rooms sleep 2–4 guests with flexible bedding configurations (often a mix of beds and sofa-beds).
