Map & location
Benalmadena, Costa Del Sol, Spain
The hotel sits on the coastline between Benalmadena and Fuengirola, as part of the larger Holiday World Resort complex. You’re slightly elevated above the shore, giving wide sea views and a resort-style feel rather than a traditional town-centre base.
Benalmadena itself is split into three distinct areas: the whitewashed hilltop Old Town, the Arroyo de la Miel district with its cable car and theme parks, and the modern beachfront and marina. Holiday World Polynesia Hotel puts you within easy reach of them all, while still feeling like a self-contained retreat with everything on hand for families.
- Beach Club splash park 650m (downhill; courtesy shuttle runs regularly)
- beach 800m
- shops, bars & restaurants 2km
- Benalmadena resort centre & marina 7km
- Approx. transfer time from airport 1 Hour (Malaga AGP)
Facilities
Pool & outdoors
The centrepiece of the hotel is its large lagoon-style outdoor freshwater pool, surrounded by palm trees and sunbathing areas with loungers and parasols. There’s a separate splash area for little ones and a relaxed, sociable vibe that fits the family-focused atmosphere. Complimentary pool towels are available, with the option to refresh them as needed.
The true showstopper, however, is the Beach Club splash park, located approximately 600–650m downhill from the hotel. Here you’ll find multiple pools, waterslides, water guns, themed features and shallow play zones designed for kids and grown-ups alike. A courtesy shuttle bus runs regularly from the hotel down to the Beach Club, especially handy for families with younger children.
The splash park is usually open from around 01 April to 31 October, between 10:00 and 18:00, weather and occupancy dependent. During low season not all attractions may operate. Access is included for All Inclusive guests (other board types may pay a supplement).
The closest sandy beach is about 800m away, reachable on foot or via local transport, giving you the option to swap pool days for sea swims when you fancy a change of scene.

• Beach Club Restaurant – Casual buffet at the Beach Club serving snacks and light meals in season (roughly 01 May–30 Sep). Kids’ menu, buffet and highchairs available, plus microwaves.
