Facilities
Pool & outdoors
The hotel is arranged around two outdoor freshwater pools that feel tailor-made for slow, sunny days. One main pool sits at the heart of the property, with plenty of sunbeds and parasols dotted around whitewashed terraces and greenery.
A second pool, set in an annex building behind the main hotel, offers an alternative, often quieter space to stretch out on a lounger or Balinese bed. Do note that to reach this pool you’ll need to cross a small local road between buildings.
Both pools usually operate between early April and the end of September, and facilities may vary by pool and season. If you fancy a change of scene, the beach is just 100m away – ideal for early morning swims, sunset strolls or people-watching along the promenade.
Spa, sports & wellness
This is very much a “relax and recharge” style hotel. While there’s no heavy sports programme, the focus is on calm spaces, long pool days and unhurried evenings.
On-site you’ll find:
– Tranquil sun terraces with loungers and Balinese beds
– Lounge and garden areas for reading or working remotely
– Free Wi-Fi throughout, ideal for streaming or planning days out
Sitges itself picks up the slack on activity: from beach volleyball and watersports on the coastline’s 17 beaches to coastal walks and nearby golf courses, there’s plenty of variety within a short distance of the hotel. When you’re done exploring, you return to Antemare’s calm, grown-up atmosphere.
Activities
While Hotel Ibersol Antemare keeps things intentionally low-key, you’ll have plenty to fill your days and evenings between the hotel and Sitges itself:
? Explore Sitges’ galleries, boutiques and charming old town
?️ Beach time on Sitges’ many sandy stretches, from lively to secluded
? Coastal walks along the palm-lined promenade
⛳ Golf at nearby courses in the Sitges and Barcelona area (off-site)
? Evenings out on Carrer del Primer de Maig (“Sin Street”) and the marina
Programme-style entertainment at the hotel is limited; this is more about relaxed, independent days and making the most of the town’s buzzing social and cultural calendar.
Guest services
?️ 24-hour reception
? Concierge-style assistance and luggage storage
? Free Wi-Fi throughout the property
? Coach transfers and ATOL protection when booked as a package
? Certified Sustainable Hotel credentials through selected partners
Reception can help with local tips, taxi bookings, and pointing you towards Sitges’ best beaches, bars, galleries and events, from Carnival to summer Pride and film festivals.
Food & drink
Wake up to long, leisurely breakfasts on the terrace at La Pérgola, the hotel’s main restaurant. Here you’ll find buffet-style and à la carte options with a focus on fresh Mediterranean ingredients, Spanish favourites and international dishes.
By day, the Gastrobar doubles as a coffee bar and relaxed lounge, serving local and international drinks. It’s a natural gathering point for pre-dinner apéritifs or a last glass of cava before bed.
Seasonal opening times and menus can vary, and a smart casual dress code may apply in the restaurant in the evenings. Reservations may be required for some services, and supplements can depend on your chosen board basis. Information is based on the previous season and subject to change.
If you prefer to eat out, Sitges’ buzzing restaurant scene is an easy stroll away, from traditional tapas taverns to boho beach bars and late-night cocktail spots.
