Barcelona, Spain
Novotel Barcelona City sits on Avinguda Diagonal in the contemporary 22@ district, right by the futuristic Torre Glòries. From here you’ve got the best of Barcelona in every direction: a short stroll to Glòries shopping centre and the design museums, a pleasant 20–25-minute walk (or a couple of metro stops) to La Sagrada Família, and under 2km to the city’s beaches. Handy tram and bus stops outside, plus Glòries metro station just a few hundred metres away, mean you can reach Plaça de Catalunya, Las Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter without changing lines too often.
The area blends residential streets with modern offices and cool eateries, so you’ll find local tapas bars, cafés and supermarkets within an easy walk of the hotel – ideal if you prefer to dine out independently rather than commit to half board.
