Side is one of Turkey’s classic Mediterranean resorts – all golden sands, a handsome harbour and sunset-lit ruins of the Temple of Apollo. Royal Atlantis Icon sits in the Side area, a short stroll from the beach, with the historic old town and its buzzing marina an easy taxi ride away.
Beyond the resort you’ll find a lively strip of bars and restaurants, modern shopping malls and water sports all along the coastline. It’s a great base if you want to mix pool days and beach time with a dose of history and local flavour.

Pool days are a big part of life at Royal Atlantis Icon.
You’ll find a large outdoor freshwater pool with whirlpool features and lots of sunbeds, plus two indoor freshwater pools – one dedicated children’s pool – ideal for cooler days or a break from the midday sun. Pool towels are complimentary, and inflatables and water toys are allowed in selected pools.
The star attraction for many families is the aqua park, complete with slides, plus a colourful splash park with tipping water buckets, cannons and shallow play areas perfect for younger guests. Age, height and weight restrictions may apply on some slides for safety.
When you’re ready for the sea, the sandy beach is around 380m away, where you can switch pools for waves and enjoy that classic Side coastline.

The spa area (charges apply for treatments) includes a Turkish bath, sauna, steam room and whirlpool, along with massage and beauty treatments and an on-site hairdresser – ideal for a mid-holiday refresh or pre-dinner pampering.

The Tamarix Main Restaurant handles buffet-style breakfast, lunch and dinner with show cooking, a kids’ buffet, highchairs and even microwaves for families.
