More info
Marrakech is known as Morocco’s “Red City”, where terracotta walls, palm trees and minarets rise from the edge of the desert. Expect around 4 hours’ flight time from the UK and a time difference of +1 hour. The local currency is the Moroccan Dirham (MAD), and both Arabic and French are widely spoken, with English commonly used in hotels and tourist areas.
Being close to the Sahara, Marrakech enjoys year-round sunshine. Summer months often climb into the 30s, while winter days are pleasantly warm but can see cooler evenings and occasional showers, particularly given the city’s position near the Atlas Mountains.
Information about facilities, entertainment and All Inclusive inclusions at Hotel Club SUNGO by Pickalbatros is based on the previous season and can change. Some services may operate seasonally, be weather dependent or carry local charges. For entry rules and health guidance see the UK FCDO Morocco advice.
