Hidden among palms, citrus trees and reflecting pools on the Route de Ouarzazate, The Oberoi Marrakech feels wonderfully secluded yet keeps the city within easy reach. You’re in the countryside on the eastern edge of Marrakech, with far-reaching views to the Atlas Mountains and clear starry skies at night, but the medina, souks and rooftop bars are a short drive away. It’s the ideal base if you want peaceful downtime after days exploring the Red City or taking day trips into the mountains and desert.

Pool & outdoors
There’s no beach here – this is a countryside retreat – but the pools more than make up for it. The main outdoor freshwater pool stretches along the gardens with uninterrupted views towards the Atlas Mountains, surrounded by parasols, loungers, Balinese beds and swing beds. It’s heated from October to May, so you can comfortably swim even in the cooler months.
For quieter laps and spa time, the indoor heated pool is tucked inside the wellness complex, with a calm, almost temple-like atmosphere. Complimentary pool towels are provided at both pools.
Spa, sports & wellness
The Oberoi Marrakech is designed around wellbeing. The wellness centre and spa (open roughly 09:00–21:00) offers a suite of treatments including massages, facials, body rituals and traditional hammam-inspired experiences, plus a sauna and steam room. There’s also an on-site hairdresser and beauty services for pre-dinner pampering.
A fully-equipped, air-conditioned gym runs from around 07:00–21:00 with cardio machines, free weights, a stretching zone and fixed strength equipment. You can join sunrise yoga, pilates or aerobics sessions, and the resort can arrange tennis, paddle, petanque and cycling with bike hire (some activities may carry a local charge).
Evenings tend to be low-key and sophisticated, centred on long dinners, drinks at Vue bar and occasional live music, in keeping with the property’s relaxed, hideaway feel.

Dining is a real highlight at The Oberoi Marrakech, with four elegant venues that showcase both Moroccan terroir and global flavours.
Tamimt is the culinary heart of the hotel, serving refined international and local dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner in a high-ceilinged, lantern-lit setting. Rivayat, curated by a Michelin-starred chef, elevates classic Indian cuisine with inventive tasting menus and paired wines, making it one of the city’s destination restaurants. For relaxed poolside lunches of Mediterranean-inspired plates and fresh salads, head to Azur, while Vue specialises in signature cocktails and fine spirits with sunset views over the orchard.
A smart dress code may apply in certain venues; reservations are strongly recommended for Rivayat and some evenings at Tamimt. Board basis inclusions can vary by season, and à la carte supplements may apply to premium dishes or selected restaurants.

These expansive villas are the Oberoi experience at its most indulgent. Each comes with a private swimming pool, sun loungers and a walled garden or terrace for complete privacy. Inside, expect elegant Moroccan-inspired décor, high ceilings and generous living space.
Key amenities include: flat-screen TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, safety deposit box, air conditioning, minibar (local charge), Nespresso-style coffee machine, kettle, fridge, ironing board and iron, pillow menu, bathrobe and slippers, and nightly turndown service.
