Sofitel Agadir Royal Bay Resort works particularly well for winter sun, school holidays and long weekends, thanks to Agadir’s mild climate and wide sandy beach. The local currency is the Moroccan Dirham (MAD), and you’ll hear a mix of Moroccan Arabic and French spoken, with English widely understood in the hotel and tourist areas.
Typical UK flight time to Agadir is around 4 hours. Transfers to the hotel take roughly 1 hour by coach, longer at peak times. Evening dress codes apply in certain restaurants and bars, especially Soul Restaurant and lounge venues, where beachwear and sportswear are not usually permitted and long trousers are requested for men.
