Map & location
Slano, Dubrovnik Coast, Croatia
Admiral Grand Hotel enjoys an enviable position right on the waterfront in Slano, a pretty harbour village framed by pine-clad hills and olive groves. The calm bay is ideal for gentle swimming, paddling or taking to the water in a kayak, while the seafront promenade invites evening strolls.
Despite the away-from-it-all feel, you’re only around 300m from local cafés, bars and small shops, and about 30km from Dubrovnik’s walled Old Town – easy to reach by local bus or organised excursion. This makes Slano a great base if you want to dip into the city’s history and buzz, then retreat somewhere peaceful at night.

Facilities
Pool & outdoors
Life here flows between the terrace, pools and beach. The main outdoor saltwater pool sits just above the shoreline, with sunbeds and parasols arranged along the waterfront so you can switch easily between pool dips and sea swims.
An indoor heated saltwater pool is available between spring and late autumn – ideal for cooler days or a more tranquil swim. Complimentary pool towels are provided, so there’s no need to pack your own.
On the bay itself you’ll find a gently shelving pebble beach, calm waters and hotel-run watersports including kayaking and pedalos (seasonal and extra charge), offering a relaxed way to explore Slano’s beautiful natural harbour.
Spa, sports & wellness
The small but well-equipped spa area offers a sauna, steam room, Turkish bath and whirlpool, plus a menu of massages and beauty therapies to help you fully switch off. There’s also an on-site hairdresser for pre-dinner spruce-ups (spa and beauty services typically incur local charges and run seasonally).
Active guests are well catered for: there’s a gym with cardio and strength equipment, and multi-use courts where you can play basketball, football or handball, along with a tennis court. Occasional evening entertainment – such as live music – runs between roughly May and October, keeping the atmosphere relaxed rather than lively.
Practical touches include a 24-hour reception, currency exchange services, luggage storage and wheelchair hire on request (subject to availability), making Admiral Grand a comfortable and easy base for exploring the Dubrovnik Coast.
