Map & location
Savudrija, Pula and Istrian Coast, Croatia
Perched near the northernmost point of Croatia, Petram Resort & Residences sits in Savudrija, a laid-back pocket of Istria named after the oldest working lighthouse on the Adriatic. It’s a place for slow coastal walks, dramatic sunsets and easy day trips – Umag’s cafés and marina are a short drive away, while the Slovenian border is close enough for a spontaneous cross-border adventure.
The resort itself is slightly elevated above the shoreline, which helps deliver those wide-open sea views. A beach lies about 500m away, reachable on foot or via the complimentary shuttle that runs regularly through the day. With car hire commonly included, you’re well-placed to roam the hilltop villages, vineyards and golf courses that have made Istria a rising star for discerning travellers.
- Beach 500m
- shops, bars & restaurants 1.5km
- Umag resort centre 9km
- Approx. transfer time from Pula (PUY) by car hire around 1 hour 20 minutes.
Facilities
Pool & outdoors
You’re spoiled for choice when it comes to a swim. At ground level, a generous outdoor freshwater pool features a section for children, surrounded by a sunbathing terrace with loungers and parasols – great for families who want an easy pool day.
Up top, the resort’s statement piece is the adults-only rooftop infinity pool, open seasonally (usually 01 June–01 October). From here, views roll out over the rooftops to the Adriatic and the distant coastline, with a stylish sunbathing area and attentive towel service.
There’s also an indoor freshwater pool on the roof terrace, again adults-only and ideal if you’re visiting outside of peak summer or looking for a calmer swim.
Fresh pool towels are provided, and facilities or opening dates may vary by pool and by season.
The nearest pebbly beach is around 500m away; if you’d rather not walk, a complimentary shuttle operates regularly throughout the day to whisk you down to the seafront.

If you like to keep active, the gym includes a stretching zone and is usually open 09:00–21:00, giving you plenty of time to fit in a workout before breakfast or after a day on the beach. Outside the resort, Savudrija is renowned for its championship golf course and attractive fairways with sea views, ideal for golfers looking to mix practice and play.
