Perched on a headland overlooking the crystalline waters of the Costa Smeralda, Hotel La Bisaccia is pure Sardinian escapism. Manicured lawns roll down to rocky bathing coves and a reserved slice of Baia Sardinia’s white-sand beach, while a saltwater pool, classic Mediterranean architecture and far-reaching sea views set a wonderfully romantic tone. Hotel La Bisaccia enjoys one of Baia Sardinia’s most privileged spots, on a peaceful headland just north of the famous Costa Smeralda. You’re surrounded by emerald sea and sculpted granite rocks, yet only a short stroll from the resort’s waterfront promenade, restaurants and gelaterie.
A reserved section of the main Baia Sardinia beach gives you soft white sand and shallow turquoise water on tap, while bathing platforms carved into the rocks offer that classic Costa Smeralda “beach club” feel without the crowds.

Pool & outdoors
The heart of the hotel is its outdoor saltwater pool, edged by lawns, sunbeds and parasols. It sits high enough to enjoy sweeping sea views, yet close enough to the shoreline that you can hear the waves. Pool towels are complimentary, so you can travel lighter.
From the gardens, paths lead directly down to rocky bathing platforms where you can slip straight into the sea, as well as to Baia Sardinia’s main sand beach. Between 01 June and 30 September, guests enjoy a reserved beach section with one parasol and two sunbeds per room from the third row backwards; the first two rows are available for a daily supplement.
Spa, sports & wellness
While there’s no full spa on site, Hotel La Bisaccia focuses on laid-back outdoor living. Borrow one of the hotel’s complimentary bicycles (subject to availability and on request) to explore Baia Sardinia and nearby coves, or simply enjoy the gentle entertainment programme with live music on selected evenings from May to October (more frequent in July and August).
The reception team can help with concierge services, local recommendations and practicalities, and there’s also luggage storage plus useful hire items such as kettles, bottle warmers and wheelchairs.

Food & drink
Start the day with breakfast on the panoramic terrace at La Terrazza Restaurant, where the view is every bit as tempting as the buffet. Expect Italian and international favourites at breakfast and dinner, with lunch also available and an emphasis on local Sardinian flavours and fresh seafood. Beachwear is politely discouraged in the restaurant.
Two stylish bars keep the dolce vita flowing. The American Bar serves as a relaxed lounge bar for pre-dinner drinks, while the Pool Bar doubles as a piano bar in the gardens on selected nights, pairing live music with sunset cocktails.
