Map & location
Riva, Lake Garda, Italy
Riva del Garda is one of Lake Garda’s most photogenic towns, with pastel façades, a medieval fortress and café-lined piazzas overlooking the water. Hotel Villa Miravalle sits slightly above the centre in a quieter pocket, so you can step out to cobbled streets, shops and wine bars in minutes, then retreat to the gardens and pool when you want calm. The lakeside promenade and harbour are a short walk away, with boat connections to other lakeside resorts and trails leading directly into the surrounding mountains.
- Approx. transfer time from airport 2 hours 30 minutes (from Verona VRN)
Facilities
Pool & outdoors
The villa’s compact outdoor freshwater pool sits in the gardens, surrounded by sunbeds and greenery – a welcome cool-off after a day on the lake or hiking nearby trails. Pool towels are complimentary, and the pool generally operates from late March to the end of October, weather permitting.
There isn’t a private beach, but you’re less than a 15–20 minute walk (around 1.3km) from Riva’s lakeside bathing areas, where you can swim, hire pedalos or simply stretch out on the grass and shingle shorelines with mountain views all around.
Spa, sports & wellness
This is a simple, characterful base rather than a full-scale resort, so facilities are focused on comfort and atmosphere rather than big sports complexes.
On site you’ll find:
• Leafy gardens and sun terrace areas
• Lounge and bar with indoor seating
• Concierge-style reception (approx. 14 hours per day)
• Luggage storage
Riva del Garda itself is a hub for outdoor adventures – from lakeside walks and cycling to windsurfing, sailing and mountain hiking – all easily arranged locally through specialist providers.
Activities
While Hotel Villa Miravalle doesn’t run a full animation programme, it’s a fantastic base for exploring Lake Garda’s great outdoors. In and around Riva you can enjoy:

• Hiking into the surrounding mountains and viewpoints
• Windsurfing, sailing and stand-up paddleboarding (via local centres)
• Boat trips from Riva’s harbour to other lakeside towns
• Cultural sightseeing in Riva’s old town, fortress and museums
Activities, rentals and excursions are easily booked locally through specialist providers.

• Reception (approx. 14 hours per day)
• Concierge-style assistance for restaurant tips and local trips
• Luggage storage for early arrivals/late departures
• Complimentary Wi‑Fi throughout the hotel

Food & drink
Food is a highlight at Hotel Villa Miravalle, with two intimate à la carte options showcasing fresh, regional flavours.
Villa Miravalle Bistrot
A relaxed terrace spot open roughly from late March to late October, serving Italian and local dishes for lunch. It’s ideal for a light pasta, salad or sharing plates between sightseeing and lake swims.
Villetta Annessa
The hotel’s signature restaurant, set on a leafy terrace (with indoor back-up if the weather turns), opens for dinner and specialises in traditional Trentino and Lake Garda cuisine with show-cooking touches. Expect grilled meats, lake fish, risotti and a well-curated wine list.
Bars
A cosy Main Bar and a daytime snack bar serve drinks and light bites from late morning until the evening during the main season.
Smart-casual dress is appreciated (no beachwear), and reservations or supplements may apply depending on your board basis and the season. Menus and opening dates can vary, so check in resort for the latest details. What All Inclusive typically includes.
