You’re around 300m from the nearest beach and less than a kilometre from local shops, cafés and bars. A pleasant 2km walk or short taxi ride brings you into Umag’s postcard-pretty old town, where terracotta roofs, narrow lanes and a small harbour set the scene for leisurely evenings and long seafood dinners.
This part of the coast is ideal if you want a resort with lots to do – from tennis courts to water sports – but still crave authentic Istrian charm, easy coastal walks and day trips to hilltop villages inland.

Umag itself is a charming little town with a cobbled old quarter, a seafront promenade lined with shops and cafés, and a strong Italian influence in its food and wine.
