Venice City, Venice, Italy
Few Venice hotels are as practical and picturesque as Hotel Santa Chiara. Sitting right on the Grand Canal at Piazzale Roma, it’s perfectly placed for arrivals by water taxi, bus or car (this is the edge of the car-free zone) while still feeling firmly inside historic Venice.
You’re a few steps from the Constitution Bridge and the nearest vaporetto stop, so cruising to the Rialto Bridge, Accademia Gallery or St Mark’s Square is effortless. The leafy Papadopoli Gardens are just around the corner, and Santa Lucia train station is an easy walk away for day trips to Padua or Verona.
- Approx. transfer time from airport 35–45 minutes by boat (plus a short walk depending on pier access and tides)

Pool & outdoors
There is no pool at Hotel Santa Chiara – this is a characterful city boutique hotel where the Grand Canal is your ever-changing backdrop. Instead of beach days, guests typically spend their time exploring Venice’s palazzi, churches, galleries and quiet backstreets by foot and vaporetto, returning to the hotel bar for an evening drink by the water.
Spa, sports & wellness
