Map & location
Sorrento (Centre), Sorrento Area, Italy
Zi Teresa puts you right in Sorrento Centre, tucked along a quieter street framed by lemon trees yet within easy reach of everything. Wander about 10 minutes to Piazza Tasso, the photogenic main square lined with grand old buildings, cafés and gelato shops, or dip into the old town’s cobbled lanes for boutiques, churches and sea views.
Head downhill to Marina Grande for a nostalgic harbour scene, family-run trattorias and bathing platforms stretching over the water. The train station is close by too, making it straightforward to hop to Pompeii, Naples or connect by boat to Capri and the Amalfi Coast.
- Approx. transfer time from airport 1 hour 45 minutes (from Naples International – NAP)
Facilities
Pool & outdoors
The hotel’s compact outdoor freshwater pool comes with a built-in whirlpool section and a sunbathing terrace lined with sunbeds and parasols – a calm corner to cool off after sightseeing in Sorrento or along the coast. Pool towels are available with a local charge. Facilities and opening dates may vary; the pool has typically operated between around mid-May and mid-October, weather and occupancy dependent.
Sorrento’s coastline is mostly pebbly shores and bathing platforms rather than wide sandy beaches. From the hotel, stroll downhill to Marina Grande or the seafront bathing platforms (around 1.1km) to swim from wooden piers and relax on classic deckchairs above the water.
Spa, sports & wellness
Zi Teresa keeps things pleasantly low-key, focusing on comfort and convenience rather than big-resort entertainment. There’s no on-site spa or gym, but you’ll find plenty of walking, sightseeing and boat trips to keep days active.
On the service side, there’s a reception desk with concierge service to help with restaurant recommendations, directions and local bookings, plus luggage storage for early arrivals or late departures. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout, so you can easily plan trips to Capri, Amalfi, Ravello or Pompeii from your sunbed.

Food & drink
With Bed and Breakfast as standard, days at Zi Teresa usually begin in the main restaurant, serving Italian and continental breakfast with fresh pastries, breads and fruit. In the evenings, you can return for classic Italian dishes – think pasta, grilled meats and regional specialities – in a relaxed, traditional setting. Highchairs are available on request even though the hotel is adult-focused.
By day the poolside snack bar keeps things easy with light Italian bites and refreshments, while the lobby bar (open roughly March to October) is ideal for a quiet aperitif before you head into town. Up on the rooftop bar you’ll find drinks with a view, open during the day for a scenic coffee or spritz in the sunshine.
A smart-casual dress code may apply in the restaurant and some services may vary seasonally. Reservations or supplements can depend on your board arrangement and opening dates are subject to change.
