Map & location
Mellieha Bay, Malta, Malta
db Seabank Resort & Spa sits at the quieter end of Mellieha Bay, directly opposite Ghadira’s long, gently shelving beach – one of Malta’s few true stretches of sand. You have relaxed beach bars and a handful of restaurants within a short stroll, while Mellieha’s hilltop old town, with its Baroque church and local cafés, is a quick bus or taxi ride away. Ferries to Gozo and Comino’s Blue Lagoon are also within easy reach, making this a great base for exploring the islands without sacrificing beach time.

Facilities
Pool & outdoors
Water babies are spoiled here. Outside you’ll find five freshwater pools, including:
- Malta’s largest lagoon-style main pool with sunbeds and parasols.
- A dedicated adults-only pool with a swim-up bar (seasonal).
- Two additional pools with shallow children’s sections.
- Two separate children’s pools with waterslides and water dome features.
Indoors, there are two heated freshwater pools (seasonal heating), including a kids’ pool, within or near the spa area. Towels are available with a refundable deposit, and outdoor pools typically operate from around mid-March to late October, weather permitting. The main indoor pool may close at times in summer for maintenance and is adults-only between midday and 3pm.
Just across the road, Ghadira Bay offers a wide crescent of soft sand and shallow water that stays knee-deep for a good distance – perfect for younger children finding their sea legs.
