Map & location
Sliema, Malta, Malta
Sliema is Malta’s polished, urban‑seaside hub – a sweep of waterfront promenades, bathing platforms and shopping streets wrapped around Marsamxett Harbour. The Victoria sits a few blocks back from the seafront in an upmarket residential area, so you’re close to the action but slightly removed from the bustle.
Stroll 5–10 minutes to reach cafés, restaurants and the rocky shoreline, or wander down to the ferry terminal and be in Valletta in around 15 minutes by boat. St Julian’s nightlife is only a short bus or taxi ride away, making this an excellent base for exploring Malta’s cultural sights and coastal highlights.
- shops, bars & restaurants 300m
- Beach access (rocky bathing platforms) 500m
- Sliema promenade & ferry port (for Valletta) 750m
- St Julian’s resort centre 4km
- Approx. transfer time from airport 30 minutes
Facilities
Pool & outdoors
Head to the roof terrace for the hotel’s outdoor freshwater pool and sunbathing deck, framed by loungers and views across Sliema and towards Valletta’s skyline (typically open between April and October, weather permitting). Pool towels are available with a refundable deposit, so you can travel light.
For year‑round relaxation, there’s also an indoor freshwater pool tucked within the spa area, a welcome retreat in the cooler months or after a day exploring Malta’s historic towns.
Sliema’s seafront is mainly rocky platforms with ladders into the sea rather than wide sandy beaches, but these are just a short walk from the hotel and fantastic for clear‑water swimming and sunbathing.
Spa, sports & wellness
Wellness fans are well catered for. The spa offers a sauna, steam room and a menu of massage and beauty treatments for guests aged 18 and over (local charges apply), open roughly from mid‑morning to evening. Alongside, a small but well-equipped gym provides cardio machines, a free‑weights area, stretching zone and fixed strength equipment, typically open during daytime and early evening hours.
Beyond wellness, you’ll find a classic-style lobby and lounge areas to relax with a book, along with practical touches such as luggage storage and concierge support to help you make the most of your stay in Malta.
