Good to know

Questions, answered

Which Lanzarote resort?

Playa Blanca — quietest, prettiest, best beaches. Costa Teguise — family-friendly, walkable. Puerto del Carmen — liveliest, biggest choice of bars and restaurants.

When's best to visit?

Year-round destination. November–March for winter sun (avoid Christmas/New Year for value). April–June and September are the sweet spots — warm, fewer crowds.

Is there much to see beyond beaches?

Yes — Timanfaya volcanic park, the César Manrique-designed wine region (La Geria), Jameos del Agua and Cueva de los Verdes lava tubes. Worth hiring a car for a few days.
